Triptych cares deeply about not just literary culture but literary institutions. As a result of this, we do several things we want potential submitters and contributors to be aware of.

Firstly, we do print small, symbolic "first edition" print runs of anywhere between 10-30 books, depending on the release and the funds available. Copies  are always freely distributed, but we have recently begun to expeirment with a print on demand system for seciond editions for fans who want a hard copy but do not reside in the Boston area. Triptych is a campus-born student-run independent, unaffiliated publication with an interest in getting copies of books to people as easily as possible, and as cheaply as possible.

Secondly, Triptych is very passionate about literary institutions, libraries, and universities as places for the curious to gather and have access to works they might not otherwise get access to. As a result of this, we have a polite, informal, agreement with our home archive at UMass Boston to donate copies of our releases.

We are looking to get more books into more hands outside our local campus stomping grounds, and as such intend to place excess copies of our limited print runs in other libraries, repositories, and collections. A list of institutions, libraries, and repositories which house copies of Triptych releases is below.

Given that we print on an irregular schedule, not every library here will have every copy of Triptych ever produced, and while we can confirm that copies were sent, once they are out of our possession we're not sure on the receiving institutions processing time and policies.
